TFC Recycling is a privately owned, family-operated environmental services company based in Chesapeake, Virginia, with origins dating back to 1973. It provides residential curbside recycling and partners with municipal governments and public service authorities to serve over 600,000 households and more than 4,000 commercial customers in Virginia and North Carolina. The company promotes single-stream recycling, allowing plastics, paper, and glass to be placed in one container and aiming to boost participation and simplify the recycling process.

As a major recycler in Virginia, TFC maintains a large operating footprint with a substantial fleet of collection and transfer vehicles. It has pioneered automated processing facilities on the East Coast and continues to expand single-stream recycling to improve material capture and processing efficiency, including a growing use of Clean Natural Gas in its fleet. In 2018, TFC launched Verde, a program reflecting ongoing development of its recycling initiatives.
