In November of 2009, 16-year old Anna Basso was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a bone and soft tissue cancer that primarily affects children and young adults. In an effort to heal her body and encourage her spirit, we established 1Million4Anna.com, where family, friends, and complete strangers pledged to pray for Anna every day at 12:12 PM, and ultimately over a million prayers were said in her name. Though Anna’s fight lasted 18 months, her legacy will continue forever.

Anna’s giving spirit and her genuine caring for others continues on in the 1 Million 4 Anna Foundation. Our mission is to eradicate Ewing’s Sarcoma.  We remain vigilant to the needs of suffering adolescents and their families.  We provide university scholarships for students who have battled, or continue to battle, the disease.  We fund promising Ewing’s research. Our commitment is to empower young cancer survivors and warriors in varying stages of their journeys through inspiration, education, and eradication. It is our relentless aim to win the fight against Ewing’s Sarcoma today, tomorrow, and until it’s gone. Please join us as we fight Ewing’s Sarcoma and continue to float on.
