The Anvil is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire and empower the entrepreneurs of Purdue University and the Greater Lafayette community by providing co-working for founders and startups as well as mentorship, programming and resources.

The Anvil is a startup focused organization led by students and entrepreneurs, alongside Purdue University, for students and entrepreneurs seeking to take their ideas further. It brings people from all realms of expertise into one, neutral location for the purpose of commercializing ideas and technologies while creating and nurturing well-rounded teams. The Anvil allows founders and startups from all stages to come together and access resources at Purdue University and the surrounding community - while collaborating via open co-working, programs, and events. 

Within the space, founders and startups have access to space to work, conference rooms, programs, workshops and events, mentors from within Purdue as well as the private sector, legal, accounting, and other services in order to streamline their transition from an idea to something more. The Anvil not only serves companies in the initial startup phase, but supports them throughout their growth as a company.
