The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards is an independent, not-for-profit accreditation organization that collaborates across the health sector in Australia and internationally. A recent development illustrates its accrediting reach; in 2024 West Wimmera Health Service was awarded three years of accreditation by ACHS International, with no recommendations.
