The Be Kind People Project (BKPP) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit focused on initiating positive social change in elementary and middle schools. BKPP has a clear mission to improve the learning environment by supporting student academic achievement, reducing unwanted behavior issues, and building accountability for personal decisions based on enduring values of civility and respect. BKPP’s unique programs provide an innovative framework for youth development that integrates social, emotional, academic, civic, and health education. Using urban dance and a high energy, project-based interactive approach, The Be Kind Crew® connects with students and inspires them to develop a personal code of conduct using principles found in the Be Kind Pledge. Since its inception, The Be Kind People Project has delivered over 32 million character education materials and resources to more than 6 million students and their teachers in classrooms nationwide.
