With over 700 pupils on the roll, representing well over 50 nationalities, we are one of the largest and longest-established British international schools in the world and uphold high ideals and huge ambition for the young people in our charge. Our educational programme is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales coupled with a strong welfare system, an approach to education which is unique in France. We are a high-achieving school with tailored provision offering educational support for the most able and for those who have specific learning needs. All children are encouraged to aim high and consistently the vast majority of our leavers gain places at their first choice universities throughout the world. The British School of Paris is proud of its highly diverse community. When visitors arrive at our beautiful campuses they are often struck by the sheer range of nations, cultures and backgrounds that our pupils come from. The Junior School atrium is full of the flags of home nations and there are regular events to celebrate our internationalism. Our atmosphere is British, and we follow the UK National Curriculum, indeed we are the only fully accredited British Overseas School in France. Whilst we operate and teach in English, you are likely to hear French (and other languages) being used at break times.
