We’re an independent, thriving, mutual society which has been an integral part of the community since 1850. We provide funding for people buying their own homes and a trusted home for people in a position to save. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have their own home, our Making the Difference initiative looks at finding new ways to help those that can’t afford to buy a home without our help & working with our community partners to improve access to shelter and housing in our local area. We were praised for our fascinating programme in the Inspiring Workplace Awards in July 2021, winning first place in the Inspiring CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) category. Our mortgage Intermediary network continues to grow and strengthen as it benefits from the close relationships, they form with our dedicated Business Development Team. We've extended our lending area across England and Wales, which supports our ongoing strategy to help more people have a home. Our passionate team of over 200 members that live and breathe our mission, are truly committed to our members and each other. Working collaboratively from our head office in the heart of Cambridge and in the strong local network of 13 stores and branches in and around Cambridgeshire, including our newest store in the bustling market town of Bury St Edmunds. The service we give and the success we’ve achieved wouldn’t be possible without our people, using their knowledge, skills and innovation to drive us forward and continue to evolve and adapt. We have lots of medals to prove it, including an award-winning IT Team, taking home Gold at the FSTech Financial Services Awards in March 2022. But we’re not here for profits and the awards don’t matter(honestly). Because above all we’re here for our members.
