The Carr Center is a small performing arts organization based in Detroit, Michigan, that serves as a gathering place for artists across disciplines and the local community. It operates through three core initiatives: Carr Center Presents, which brings performing and visual arts to metro-Detroit with multi-disciplinary programs featuring national, regional, and local artists; the Carr Center Arts Academy, which provides arts education and training in instrumental music, dance, and musical theatre; and Carr Center Contemporary, which houses a visual arts gallery and a performance studio opened in 2021 for non-traditional venues and multidisciplinary work.
