The Challenge was the UK's largest social enterprise connecting and inspiring people across Britain to strengthen their communities. We worked on a local level to bring together people from all ages, ethnicities and walks of life, connecting communities and building trust. We are very proud of the 242,000 young people who took part in The Challenge's programmes between 2009 and 2019, and of our staff who worked hard to give them all great experiences. Sadly, The Challenge went into administration in November 2019 and is now closed. Thankfully our programmes continue - the National Citizen Service through many providers across the country, and HeadStart through its new home with Family Action.
