Founded in 1970, The Children’s School (TCS) is a preschool–grade 8 independent school located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. For more than five decades, our progressive, child-centered community has paired challenging academics with a nurturing environment, helping students discover who they are as learners and as people. Through hands-on experiences and learning that goes beyond rote memorization, students develop the curiosity, confidence, and critical-thinking skills they carry into high school and beyond. Our alumni remain an important part of the TCS community.
