The City Tutors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building an educational subway for New Yorkers who have been on the margins of opportunity. Through no-cost volunteer tutoring, career-readiness mentoring, events, and community partnerships, learners enter at different points—but once they’re in, the support keeps moving with them as their goals evolve. We help learners build confidence, gain useful information, grow their skills, and strengthen the networks that open doors.
