MISSION STATEMENT: In the tradition of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, our mission is to support and nurture families by providing essential services designated to empower families to fulfill their role in church and society. About The Community at Holy Family Manor In 1927, Mt. Nazareth was built on a 30 acre pastoral hilltop setting in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. The building became a residence for many sisters and a high school for girls, Mt Nazareth Academy for over 40 years. In 1971, Mt. Nazareth Learning Center opened its doors offering child development services to families from infants to Pre-K. Today, The Community at Holy Family Manor, Inc. is the organization that the Sisters have created as one means to continue their commitment to families in need. Through this organization, the ministry of caring is made real through a spectrum of family supports which includes Mt. Nazareth Learning Center, Holy Family Manor Personal Care Home with a Memory Care Unit and Sisters Special Care Unit and Nazareth Housing Services.
