The Design Element reveres the art of practicing landscape architecture. Beginning as design partners at Arizona State University, the studio mates evolved into a partnership that has collaborated on many project types including business environments, urban infill and higher education for more than two decades. Partners Marc Beyer [designer, business development] and Jeff Anderson [registered landscape architect] chose their profession because they have a passion for design and a desire to make a difference. The strong communication skills and the ability to contribute their strengths to a project team were developed from training at local multi-disciplinary design firms. Today, The Design Element focuses its efforts on building strong relationships with its clients. As stewards of the environment and the project process, the studio provides partner-level quality of service in all aspects of its work.
