The Dutra Group is a heavy civil marine contractor that focuses on dredging and marine construction to support infrastructure. It operates through three integrated subsidiaries—Dutra Dredging, Dutra Marine Construction, and Dutra Materials—providing turnkey services from project concept through completion. Dutra Dredging serves government agencies and private industry, with a focus on environmental protection in both new dredging and maintenance projects. Dutra Marine Construction handles bridge and pier work, pile driving, demolition, levee maintenance, rock placement, and mooring systems, while Dutra Materials relies on the San Rafael Rock Quarry with substantial aggregate reserves and a waterside distribution center in the San Francisco Bay Area. Based in San Rafael, California, the group has pursued strategic developments, including the 2025 acquisition of Hanford ARC and, in 2026, a collaboration with Royal IHC and Eastern Shipbuilding Group that culminated in the keel laying of the Adele, a Beagle 10.2 Mk2 USA trailing suction hopper dredger.
