Founded in 1977, the Emergency Feeding Program of Seattle & King County is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides nonperishable food packs to people in crisis hunger situations. Our mission is to provide an emergency response to the nutritional needs of people in crisis hunger situations throughout Seattle and King County. We are dedicated to alleviating hunger while providing individuals with resource counseling to help move them towards independence. 

What We Do:

We pack 15 varieties of emergency packs to meet the cultural and nutritional needs of our clients. We work with over 180 partner organizations to make our bags available when and where our clients need them. We provide our clients with a list of available resources to help guide them to the longer-term services they need to get back on their feet. We collaborate with food banks and other anti-hunger organizations to boost our efforts to fight hunger in the communities we serve.
