The Family Support Center has been serving the Salt Lake City Community since 1977, with the mission to protect children, strengthen families, and prevent child abuse.

The Family Support Center offers child abuse prevention and treatment services, as well as parent and family support to the community for low to no cost. This is done through programs including:

•	Free Crisis Nurseries offering 24/7 care for children whose parents are overwhelmed.
•	Free in-home parenting support through our Family Mentoring Program
•	Housing and self-sufficiency program for homeless parents and their children through the LifeStart Village
•	Free and low-cost community classes on parenting, family blending, and anger management 
•	Low-cost individual and family counseling
•	Support groups for Adults Molested as Children (AMAC group)
•	Adoption Respite Care.
