The Fashion Design Lab is a fashion class just for kids! Children will learn how to design clothing and accessories, sew on a machine and by hand, and for the finale, star in a live fashion show, showcasing their unique creations! Throughout the course each student will design and construct their own garments and accessories from a variety of fabrics and embellishments. Our instructors will guide each student through the design process, while encouraging creativity. At The Fashion Design Lab, kids feel excited to express their originality. Our teachers, Eve and Dayna, created The Fashion Design Lab after looking for a sewing class for their daughters, and realizing there weren't any local fashion classes geared towards children. Eve majored in fashion design at Cornell University, and then worked in the fashion design industry industry for 10+ years, including having her own accessory line. Dayna is an attorney and wanted to combine her expertise in law and business with her love of fashion and her creative talents.
