The Film Stage was created by editor-in-chief Jordan Raup and managing editor Daniel Mecca in the fall of 2008 at University of Buffalo. We have since expanded with a home base now in New York City, and a team of writers from around the globe, covering premier festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice, TIFF, Sundance, NYFF, Locarno, SXSW, and beyond year-round.
