Flying Classroom’s PK-12, STEM+ supplemental curriculum, facilitates student engagement through expeditionary and immersive learning experiences. Through live virtual sessions and hands-on design challenges, students build a solid foundation in STEM+ as they prepare for college, careers and life beyond the classroom setting. The curriculum is aligned to national standards and can be implemented during the academic school day, through after school programs and can ultimately be tailored to meet the needs of any organization or school. Captain Irving and his team also travel to schools across the country exposing students and families to different projects like Orbis Eye Hospital, Uber Air, STEMstruction, race car builds and even airplane builds. Flying Classroom creates its content through the global expeditions of Captain Barrington Irving, the first Black and youngest pilot to fly solo around the world.
