We take pride in finding, incubating, and showcasing new music, whether local, national, or international. The Fold scours L.A's tinsel-strewn streets in order to present the finest in new music, such as Moses Sumney, Local Natives, Sam Sparro, Robert Francis, Tom Brosseau, Matt Costa, Ditty Bops, Cold War Kids, Bird and the Bee, Silversun Pickups, Autolux, Metric, B.R.M.C., and Devendra Banhart as well as being the first L.A. club to host notables such as Emile Sande, Jessie Ware, Sky Ferreira, Mates of State, Chairlift, Rufus Wainwright, Vampire Weekend, A Place to Bury Strangers, Bright Eyes, Deerhoof, My Morning Jacket, The Kills, TV on the Radio, Polyphonic Spree, Fiery Furnaces, and Broken Social Scene among what must be at least three thousand more, not to mention numerous memorable shows from Acid Mothers Temple, The Rapture, ...Trail of Dead, Elliott Smith, The Breeders, Neko Case, and Jonathan Richman just to name names.
