The Forum is a Canadian nonprofit organization based in Burnaby, British Columbia, founded to support women entrepreneurs in accessing the resources and networks needed to pursue and sustain their business goals. Since 2002, it has educated and mentored thousands of women across Canada, aiming to help them activate and grow the capital—whether knowledge, networks, or support systems—required to achieve their vision of success. Operating within the nonprofit sector, The Forum focuses on narrowing the business funding and opportunity gaps faced by women entrepreneurs by providing related education and guidance. In addition to its long-running educational programs, it announced a recent initiative in September 2023, launching the AFIA DEI index as a nationwide tool to address ongoing gaps in funding for women-led ventures.
