The Fund for Peace is an independent nonprofit organization focused on international affairs, headquartered in Washington, DC, with offices in Abuja and Tunis. For more than six decades, it has developed practical tools and approaches aimed at reducing conflict, emphasizing the intersection of human security and economic development. It provides policymakers, practitioners, and communities with context-specific, data-driven applications to diagnose risks and vulnerabilities and to develop solutions through collective dialogue. Operating globally, FFP supports decision-makers and field practitioners seeking rigorous analysis to understand risk and build resilience. In 2022, SAS partnered with The Fund for Peace to identify opportunities to improve preparedness for crisis and shock scenarios through a Crisis Sensitivity Simulator.
