We are America's first vegan butcher shop, founded by a brother-sister team. You can purchase meat-free meats and cheese-free cheeses from our storefront in Minneapolis, and we also ship to all 50 states & Puerto Rico. We also founded a farm sanctuary called Herbivorous Acres. In May 2021, we opened Minnesota's first vegan fried chicken shop, Herbie Butcher's Fried Chicken, in south Minneapolis.

Plant based eating is more popular than ever, and we're here to make the switch from meat eater to plant eater a little easier. Our seitan meats are high in protein and low in fat, and we use ingredients that you can find in your neighborhood co-op.
