The Ocean Project is a nonprofit organization based in Providence, Rhode Island, founded in the late 1990s. It advances ocean conservation by partnering with zoos, aquariums, and museums, along with youth leaders and youth-focused organizations worldwide, to enhance how partner institutions engage visitors and the public in conservation outcomes. In 2023, it announced a multi-year action theme for 2024 titled Catalyzing Action for Its Ocean & Climate.
