Founded in 1975 by industry pioneer William S. Paley—originally as The Museum of Television & Radio—the Center continues its legacy of convening cultural decision-makers through signature series including Media Council, Next Big Thing, the International Council Summit, and She’s Making Media.

Paley also honors excellence in storytelling through PaleyFest in New York and Los Angeles, where audiences go beyond the screen and into the creative process. Its archive—nearly 150,000 programs spanning more than a century—preserves the moments that defined generations, from breaking news and landmark interviews to comedy, sports, children’s programming, and beyond.
