The Participation Company, LLC (TPC) helps government and business clients manage public issues to accomplish objectives and reach consensus by building agreements and crafting durable and defensible decisions. We plan and manage public participation projects from start to finish and provide strategic advice, direction and training. We coach and mentor staff and managers. Our cumulative experience includes 130 years designing and conducting stakeholder participation programs for an array of public agencies and private companies, in connection with over 1,500 projects.

Established in 2010, TPC principals include Doug Sarno, Wendy Green Lowe, and John Godec. We have spent our careers working as open-process advocates between stakeholders and decision-makers. We are founders and long-time leaders of the globally-respected International Association for Public Participation (IAP2).
