The Pittsburgh Foundation is a longstanding philanthropic organization that manages endowment funds established by individuals, businesses, and organizations to support charitable giving in the Pittsburgh region. In May 2026, it announced that William Generett Jr. will become president and CEO, assuming the role on August 1, 2026, indicating a leadership transition.
