The Regional Training Center is a professional training and coaching organization based in Fountain Valley, California. It provides training services to public agencies with a focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective programs, designed to address ongoing needs in public service education. The organization operates as a non-profit affiliate of CAL-MASS, and its cadre of course designers and facilitators emphasizes a rigorous process that combines research, instructional design, and comprehensive training documentation. RTC’s facilitator team is credentialed through the California POST Master Instructor Certification Course, and programs are created to be thorough and adaptable for a nationwide client base. In addition to its core training offerings, the center has pursued partnerships to expand its reach, including a recent collaboration announced in 2023 to establish a premier governmental training venue in the United States through a partnership with Florida-based forensic science and security organizations.
