Founded in 1992, The Scarab, in Minturn, Colorado, was created by Jane Rohr and Larry Stone. Today we bring rugs and one-of-a-kind merchandise to all who come to enjoy these offerings at The Scarab. We have collected furniture, jewelry, personal/home accessories from vintage, collectible or authentic handmade pieces from artisans. We look for mercantile that has a purpose, as well as those items that are recreated and up-cycled. Rugs are an investment. They can last a lifetime. Rugs can be passed down from one generation to the next. We offer well over a thousand beautiful hand-made oriental rugs and kilims from across planet earth. Our suppliers follow Good Weave practices and our prices are Fair. We encourage fair trade practice ensuring we sustain the chain from weaver to consumer.
