The So Company was founded on the principal that the US government needed a better way to adopt new technology to make a lasting impact on how technology can better serve the people. Since founding The So Company, its employees have been used human-centered design (HCD) and agile development methodologies to explore and build better processes for once broken government systems. The So Company has been a principal driver in the launch or maintenance of: the new VA.gov (once Vets.gov); Healthcare.gov; QPP.cms.gov; bringing HCD to VA; DIUx’s NSIN.us; US Navy Reserves new CRM System; Air Force Academy’s “What’s Up” mobile application; and others. We work on digital service projects where humans need to interact with government-digital experiences; our mission is to improve those experiences. While we understand the government market (we are an SDVOSB and a participant in SBA’s 8(a) program, we are a non-traditional contractor working on the edge of innovation and government.
