Stuart Wilson has been practicing law in Memphis, Tennessee since 1986. He has a general civil practice, with emphasis on insurance defense.

Prior to opening The Wilson Law Firm in 2002, he was an associate and partner in the law firm of Wilson, McRae, Ivy, Sevier, McTyier and Strain from 1986 until 1995.

In 1995, he left Wilson, McRae to join Shuttleworth and Wilkinson, which subsequently became Shuttleworth, Wilkinson, and Wilson (currently Stewart and Wilkinson).

Since February of 2002, Mr. Wilson has been a sole practioner. He recently relocated his practice to Valleybrook Drive in east Memphis, conveniently located just off of Poplar Avenue and Interstate 240 in the Poplar Corridor.    
HONORS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Mr. Wilson is a member of the Memphis Bar Association, and served as President of the Young Lawyers Division in 1994. He has given presentations on numerous occasions for insurance claims personnel and served as a faculty member for attorney seminars presented by the National Business Institute, Inc., primarily in the areas of litigation, insurance defense, and uninsured motorist coverage. 

At Vanderbilt, he was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha political science honor society as well as Delta Kappa Epsilon social fraternity. He majored in both History and Political Science, with a minor in English.

In law school, Mr. Wilson was a member of the Moot Court Board, Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. and winner of the Ray H. Jenkins Trial Competition.
