The Goldsmith-Theodore Agency was founded in June 1984. It was initially established as a division of the Wm. Goldsmith Agency, which had been an independent insurance agency in the upstate of South Carolina since 1884. Goldsmith-Theodore was developed to provide insurance services throughout the state of South Carolina and most of the southeast. This partnership allowed us to build a stable of financially sound, competitive, insurance markets unsurpassed by any other insurance agency, large or small. In 2007 we changed our name to Theodore & Associates which better represents our local ownership and pride of association.
