In February 1956, Thompson Cadillac-Oldsmobile, Inc. came to life. At the time, the company was located at 421 Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. As the city grew and expanded northward so did the company. In 1967, we moved to our present location. Since moving to 2600 Wake Forest road, the company has continued to grow and expand our car line-up to include GMC in 2001 and Buick in 2009. With these additions we are now doing business as Thompson Buick-GMC-Cadillac and during this time we have consistently ranked as one of the top General Motors dealerships in the region.

Listening to customers and paying attention to their needs is the most important thing we do. We want you to feel comfortable when you visit our dealership. Our sales associates make sure that each customer has a low-pressure, but exciting car-buying experience, because that's what you deserve. Of course our customer service extends well beyond the sale of a new or pre-owned vehicle. We strive to have the speediest, friendliest, and most convenient parts, service and collision repair department in the industry.
