Throckmorton Fine Art Inc is a New York-based gallery with a focus on vintage and contemporary photography from the Americas, particularly Latin American photographers, spanning more than 25 years in the field. The gallery also handles Chinese Jades and Antiquities as well as Pre-Columbian Art, offering a diverse program that positions it within the broader art and antiquities market. Its operations are centered in New York City, reflecting a specialty in niche photographic works alongside spatial and historical artifacts. The business serves collectors and institutions interested in Latin American photographic archives and related art forms, addressing needs for historically informed, regionally specific visual artefacts and connoisseur-level pieces. While its primary emphasis is on photography, the gallery’s broader catalog indicates a cross-disciplinary approach to art and antiquities within the Americas and Asia.
