One thing I learned early in my career is to focus on one thing that you are good at and like. Medicare is my calling! Other product lines, we've partnered with the best in their given fields to align with our core values and expectations. 

The #1 thing I experience in the market is confusion! Too many choices, all the mailers, and fragmented information makes this process more difficult than it needs to be. Many folks go to carrier seminars which, in most cases, only provide a high level overview and where each company shares why they are the best. Others may enroll online or over the phone. SCMS believes it should be done on a one-on-one basis to gather all the proper information such as providers, preferred hospitals, prescriptions and other key information. With our team, the sale begins a year from when we assisted you in selecting the right plan based on your needs. We will assist with claims, questions, and do annual reviews with our clients at no cost. 

SCMS has over 450 contracted agents that market Medicare products. Our agents range from college grads to Medicare, both male and female agents along with husband and wife teams. We also offer services to employers, assisting retirees with the right solutions, Medicare providers in helping their patients and staff understand Medicare, and other trusted advisers in the community we partner with. 

Prior to becoming a specialist in senior insurance, Tim worked as a consultant for Mercer consulting, VSP, QualMed, PacifiCare, and most recently, United HealthCare.
