Tishman International Companies was formed in 1977 when a group of former senior executives from NYSE-traded Tishman Realty & Construction Co., Inc. formed privately-held Tishman West. During the fifteen years that followed, Tishman West built and managed some of the West Coast’s most prominent high-rise office buildings and grew to be one of the largest property management firms in the West. 

In 1992, Tishman West sold its United States leasing and management operations to a unit of American Express Company and became Tishman International Companies. Today, Tishman International Companies continues to acquire and develop new properties and provide superior property and asset management services. The company has built, developed and managed more than 40 million square feet of assets, comprised of some of the most prestigious real estate projects throughout the United States.
