Established in 2016, the Today’s Students Coalition (TSC) is a nonprofit, bipartisan coalition uniting the nation’s leading policy and advocacy organizations, affiliates, and student advocates.

By working collaboratively with member organizations at the core, our community, and hundreds of partners nationwide, we accelerate legislative momentum of federal policy to strengthen higher education, equitable outcomes, and the nation through research, advocacy campaigns and projects, and civic leadership development.

We're at the forefront of a national movement to modernize the nation's higher education system for today's students:
• 34% are older than 25
• 43% identify as a race other than white
• nearly ¼ of undergraduates are parents
• 55% identify as first-generation
• 4.9% are veterans
