Trails and Open Space Coalition (TOSC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and expanding the network of parks, trails, and open spaces that make the Southern Front Range of Colorado such a special place to live, work, and explore. Our mission is to advocate for the creation and preservation of an interconnected system of parks, trails, and open spaces across the Front Range of Southern Colorado. For more than two decades, TOSC has served as a connector and catalyst for conservation and outdoor recreation. Our coalition brings together passionate community members, partner organizations, land managers, public agencies, and outdoor advocates who share a commitment to protecting the landscapes and trail systems that define our region. Our work is guided by three principles: Advocate – We champion policies, funding, and community support that protect open space and expand access to trails and outdoor recreation. Augment – We support the work of land managers and partners by helping strengthen conservation initiatives, mobilizing volunteers, and amplifying efforts that improve parks and trails. Act – We turn passion into impact through hands-on stewardship, volunteer projects, community programs, and initiatives that encourage people to care for the places they love. Through community engagement, partnerships, volunteerism, and advocacy, TOSC works to ensure that the Southern Front Range continues to have vibrant parks, accessible trails, and protected natural landscapes for generations to come. We also share news, updates, and stories about parks, trails, nature, and outdoor recreation across the region to keep our community informed and connected to the outdoors.
