Tri-Counties Regional Center is a California nonprofit agency contracted by the state to coordinate supports and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Its programs span the lifespan, from early assessment and intervention for infants and young children to recreational, employment, and residential supports for transition-age individuals, through to ongoing residential, service, and medical needs for adults and seniors. The organization operates across six locations in Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, Oxnard, and Simi Valley, and employs more than 300 people, making it one of the larger nonprofits in the central coast region.

Recent developments include the launch of an in-house disaster preparedness program in mid-2025, and two funding awards in October 2025 to support acquisitions and a new behavioral day program in Santa Barbara or Ventura County.
