Our mission is to develop and provide quality, integrated, comprehensive early childhood development programs which offer a broad range of services and respond to the needs of eligible young children and their families for the purpose of preparing them for success in school & life.

Serving Children & Families in Southwest Colorado: 
•Providing over 40 years of early childhood programming in Southwest Colorado.
•Offering inclusive classroom for children with special health care needs and significant disabilities.
•Provides 2/3 of the daily nutritional needs for enrolled Head Start children.
•Provides no cost services for eligible families.
•Tuition options are available for extended day programs

Program Center Locations:
Early childhood education programs are available in three neighboring counties; Montezum county, La Plata county, and Archuleta county.  La Plata county programs are found in and near Durango, Colorado.  Montezuma county programs can be found in Cortez, Dolores, and Mancos.  Archuleta county has a program center in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.  See our website for more info on our locations.
