Tri-Rotor Pump is a manufacturer of positive displacement rotary piston pumps.  Tri-Rotor invented this type of pump in 1932 and has been manufacturing it ever since.  The Tri-Rotor design easily handles thin fluids and is especially good for pumping very viscous fluids.  Markets and applications served include Oil (e.g. Asphalt, Bitumen, Grease, Lube Oil), Food & Beverage (e.g. Chocolate, Corn Syrup, Edible Oils, Molasses), Industrial Coatings & Sealants (e.g. Adhesives, Caulk, Glue), and Fuels (e.g. Biofuels, Kerosene).  All of Tri-Rotor's operations, including parts machining, pump assembly, pump repair and testing, is performed in the Torrington, Connecticut manufacturing facility.
