At Tri-Valley Conservancy, our mission is to permanently protect the fertile soils, habitat lands, open space, and biological resources in the Tri-Valley area while supporting a thriving agricultural economy. We achieve this mission by offering landowners a flexible and voluntary alternative to subdividing or developing their property. One important aspect of our work is acquisition. We collaborate with willing landowners to secure property development rights through conservation easements, legally safeguarding the land from future development. Additionally, we are committed to the ongoing stewardship of each easement. This includes regular property visits and consultation with property owners to ensure the terms of their easement are upheld and respected.
