REVEAL was founded by Jeff Trumble after a 30-year career at the Ford Motor Company working his way up from shop floor worker to senior management positions. While at Ford, Jeff grew increasingly frustrated at the costly waste of unresolved manufacturing failures due to variation at all levels of the manufacturing process. He saw the futility of trying to eliminate variation and realized that the only solution was to make the variation visible to the frontline workforce, in real-time, so they could make adjustments to compensate for the variation before it could disrupt the process.
