TrønderEnergi is a Norwegian electric power generation group focused on renewable energy production, primarily hydropower and wind, and on supporting electrification through energy-related services. Based in Trondheim, Trøndelag, the group is organized with TrønderEnergi AS as the parent company and comprises separate units such as Operations, Energy Management, Market & Business Development, Technology and Projects, along with staff functions in Reporting and Finance, Administration, and General Counsel. The group also owns Ohmia Charging AS, which provides charging services, and Ohmia Retail AS, which offers energy advice, energy management, and monitoring for the grocery sector. TrønderEnergi is owned by 24 municipalities in Trøndelag, together with KLP and Nordmøre Energiverk AS, and it holds a 40% stake in the grid company Tensio. In 2022, it partnered with HitecVision to establish a new renewables company, reflecting an expansion of its renewable energy activities.
