Founder & Medical Director, Suzanne Bentz, D.O., has practiced medicine for more than 20 years, pursuing a lifelong passion of helping patients lose weight. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and strongly believes that a physician is most qualified to help patients achieve safe and healthy weight loss. Dr. Bentz attended Texas Christian University, where she studied nutrition/health science. She received her Medical degree in 1991 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

In 1995 she started Red Mountain Family Medicine. Dr. Bentz quickly discovered that a majority of her patients required treatment for conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, all related to obesity. With a passion to further help her patients, she became Board Certified in Obesity Medicine, further specializing in the treatment of obesity and related diseases.

We strive to instill confidence in each individual that walks into our doors and send them home feeling empowered and motivated. We believe that patients are best equipped to achieve a safe and healthy weight loss when under the care of a Bariatric physician, and strive to be as readily available as possible for them every step of the way.
