Tulsa Botanic Garden is a nonprofit organization developing a 170-acre site near Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a focus on promoting the beauty and importance of plants and nature to foster a more sustainable world. The project envisions about 70 acres of horticultural gardens and facilities, including the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces, a three-acre ornamental garden that opened in 2015, and more than 100,000 bulbs planted for an annual bulbs festival, Tulsa Botanic Blooms. The site features visitor spaces such as the Children’s Discovery Garden, the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Grange event center for educational programs and private events, and newer additions like the Bumgarner Family Foundation Lotus Pool, Stanford Family Liberty Garden, and the Jim and Cherry Bost Arboretum. The organization serves the public as a cultural and educational resource, hosting workshops, events, and private occasions while pursuing long-term development of horticultural displays and related facilities in the region.
