Union Presbyterian Seminary prepares leaders of gospel-inspired, transformative change in pursuit of a more just and compassionate world. In partnership with the Seminary’s Leadership Institute, we share opportunities for continuing education and professional development that equip pastors, educators, lay leaders, and community leaders alike. Areas of study include: · Public Theology (certificate or M.A.) · Christian Education (certificate or M.A.) · Master of Divinity · Master of Theology · Doctor of Ministry Dual-degree opportunities allow students to focus on advocacy, ecology, chaplaincy, camp and conference leadership, campus/youth ministry, Christian education, or congregational settings. The Leadership Institute provides ongoing workshops, lectures, and continuing education for pastors, educators, lay, and community leaders. With campuses in Charlotte, NC, and Richmond, VA, students can study in person, hybrid, or online. We connect and engage with our community through: · Syngman Rhee Global Mission Center — global education and research for international students, faculty, and scholars. · Katie Geneva Cannon Center for Womanist Leadership — equipping and inspiring Black women as community change-makers. · Center for Excellence in Christian Education — events, resources, and curriculum to strengthen educational ministry. · Center for Social Justice and Reconciliation — advancing justice conversations in theology and society.
