United Asphalt Company, based in Cedar Brook, New Jersey, operates as a wholesale supplier and manufacturer of roofing materials. Founded in 1963, it began as a maker of roof cements, coatings, and packaged asphalt, and is a third-generation, family-owned operation led by CEO Mark Umosella Sr., who has broadened its manufacturing capabilities to include tapered edge, elastomeric coating, industrial cutbacks, and industrial coatings.

United Asphalt positions itself as a full-service roofing materials provider, offering a line of manufactured brands including Armour Proof Coatings, Del-Val, Roof-Master, United Cants, and Tapered Edge. The company emphasizes reliable customer service and on-time delivery, including the ability to fill and deliver less-than-truckload quantities to distributors. In 2025, it opened a second plant in Port Arthur, Texas, to extend distribution to the western United States.
