The United Soybean Board is a nonprofit organization based in Chesterfield, Missouri, that administers the U.S. soybean checkoff program. It relies on 77 farmer-directors who act on behalf of all U.S. soybean farmers to maximize the value of checkoff investments through programs and partnerships that drive soybean innovation beyond the bushel and strengthen demand for U.S. soy based on meal and oil quality and farming sustainability. The organization operates under the oversight of the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, in accordance with the federal Soybean Promotion, Research and Consumer Information Act. Its activities support farmers and related stakeholders, as well as nutritionists and producers, by developing tools that connect soybean meal research with economic data to inform feeding decisions. In May 2026, USB launched the Soy Farmer Support Hub to help farmers navigate current challenges. The organization also engages in public outreach and education through partnerships aimed at increasing awareness of U.S. soybean products and the importance of sustainable farming among U.S. soybean producers.
