In 1924, Charles Lofgren and Adam Schmick founded Denver-based United States Welding, a company that specialized in everything from difficult welding jobs to repairing parts and machinery all over the Rocky Mountain Region. The partners reinvented the business in 1928 as an atmospheric and specialty gas distributor, establishing the company’s continual focus on evolving to meet the needs of its clients. Today, we proudly supply a variety of high-quality bulk, industrial, specialty, and medical gases in addition to welding and medical supplies and equipment. While we are primarily an atmospheric and specialty gas distributor, we are also one of the few remaining acetylene manufactures in the country. The ability to fill our own gas allows us to better meet the demands of our clients quickly and efficiently. The company differentiates itself from the competition by striving to provide an exemplary customer service experience that focuses on creating a lasting partnership with each of our clients. That experience begins with our redefinition of customer service as providing not just what the client asks for, but helping establish that he or she has everything needed. Our attention to our customers is combined with our extensive knowledge of the atmospheric gas industry and our company’s capability to meet the necessary demands for a variety of high quality atmospheric and specialty gases.
